This interesting industrial locomotive was originally Mt Morgan Mines No.4.  It later became Mt Isa Mines Co Ltd No.1, where it was out of use by 1955.

The locomotive was initially preserved at St Joseph's Convent School, Mount Isa.  Around 1982 it was sold to a private collector and transported to Spotswood, Melbourne. In 1989 it was relocated to suburban Bayswater, Melbourne. (80)

In August 2009 it became available for sale.  I understand it has been sold to a collector and moved to a private location in South-East Queensland.
